9 Actresses Who Get By On Their Looks

Great month of October.. year is flying. This month we are going to have some fun.. List of actress that get by just on looks. According to the screenjunkies.com... When it comes to Hollywood, women are at an extreme disadvantage. Where as men can rely almost solely on their talent (Steve Buscemi rules!), a hot body is basically a prerequisite for landing a female role. And if an actress is lucky enough to break through, there’s a whole chorus of naysayers waiting to accuse her of being nothing more than an untalented pair of tits. While I totally recognize that it’s a twisted, hypocritical process, who am I to buck the trend?

The following is a list of nine actresses who really do get by on their looks. Granted, if I could get by on my looks, I totally would, so it’s not as if I blame them. Also, in all fairness, some of these actresses are probably the victim of typecasting. Of course, being typecast as “the hot chick” isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it certainly doesn’t allow them to show of their range (if they have any). That being said, here are nine actresses who get by on their looks.

99 year-old loves her first computer -- an iPad

So fun.. Virginia Campbell, a 99-year-old woman from Lake Oswego, has finally bought her first computer -- an Apple iPad. "It's changed her life," one of her daughters told OregonLive.com. Virginia has been an avid reader most of her life, but she suffers from glaucoma, making reading increasingly difficult.

Because of the iPad's ability to adjust the brightness of the page and to increase the font by simply tapping, Virginia has been able to take up her beloved past-time again. Not only is she reading again, she's writing again too.
